How To Achieve it.
Chess Master. To become a chess master they say it takes years. Kasparov and Fischer started when they was very young. So did Spassky. All reached world champion standards. This razes a question. Dose this doom the rest of us to nothing more than a failed attempt if we want to reach chess master standards. Well there might be some truth in this and there might not. Its true that when one starts young one is years ahead of many. But this is not to say it is impossible to reach chess master for others who started later on in life. Starting later on in life as its own ups and downs to it. One may have responsibilities and thus not able to spend as much time in chess. That's a down side. But wisdom comes with age.  I personally realized this dilemma and decided to solve it by simply using my time more affectively. I would play say 1 to 5 chess games per night. After each game I would analyze my games and get the most out of them. There's other things one can do in chess to improve but that's primarily what I did to learn. I also learned that it was possible with the right dedication and wisdom to develop an opening system that was powerful in a very short time. Some after 10 years still don't have a full opening system. I managed to create one after just 5 weeks. I then tested it against deep junior 10 :score=  draw. and rybka :score =draw plus win. This put me in the lead.
 Another thing one needs to become a chess master is make good time of the time you have by training in the most affective ways. I wrote a book to help others learn how. here is the link.
